Butter London Sloane Ranger

 Hi,
Tonight I have a polish that I was on the fence with but decided to give it a try.  The best way I can describe this is that it is khaki.  It is a creme and the formula is wonderful.  It is pretty neutral but I am not sure it is a color everyone could wear.  It is workplace friendly, though.  I think if you have heavy yellow undertones this polish would really not look that great.  I like it.  It isn't my favorite but I can think of two places it would be the only polish to wear.  One would be if you plan on going hunting and two if you are in the army.  This should be the offical nail polish of the US Army.  What do you think?  Official polish of the Us Army.  Think about it.

Butter London Posh Bird

I got this when Butter London had a sale.  If I had known how beautiful this color is I would have bought it long before I bought some other ones I bought.  This color is like a toss up between a light purple and grey and then there are times it looks like silver.   I totally love this polish that just happens to go with anything you wear.

Do you think this is a neutral color?

Polish of Day 67 butter London Aston

This is Butter London Aston.  November was a heavy Butter London month.  There were specials all over the place and I did go a little wild.  This color is so pretty because it is so feminine.  I love the pink undertones.  The picture on the site makes it look very different from what it really is.  I was expecting more of a brown tone but was pleasantly surprised to see this beautiful color.  I was swatching that day and of course it came right off after taken the pictures.  Needleless to say I was very pleased.

Did you find any good deals during November on butter London?  If you did, did you buy more than you should have?  I did and I still have more on my wishlist.

Polish of Day 56 Tramp Stamp Butter London

There is only one reason I bought this polish.  The name.  I love the name.  At first I wasn’t crazy about the color but as I took the pictures it looked really pretty and now that I have cropped them and looked at them and liked it.  I am not going to say it is my favorite but I would probably stamp it to make it a little more attractive.

Polish of Day 55 No More Waity Katie Butter London

Well, Ms. Middleton sealed the deal in April by becoming the Duchess of Cambridge now she is sure to hold a place in the royal family with the announcement of her pregnancy.  If Queen Elizabeth dies then the throne goes to Charles but for some reason I can’t see Charles as king for very long.  I see William as king for a long time.  Poor Harry now has to wait, but do you think Harry ever really wants to be king?  Hell, no, not when you can party naked in Vegas.  Gotta love Harry…Party on Harry you’re going to really have the good life now because I am sure the Duchess and Duke will add at least one more to their brood.  Good for us more naked pictures of Harry.  Don’t you just love him.  He is living the life of a king without ever having to worry about being one.

Polish of Day 51 Dahling by Butter London

I know I have missed some days but I will keep making them up and my goal is to make 365 in 365.   This is Butter London’s Dahling.  It was a Macy’s exclusive I believe last year and the color is what you would call a “true English rose”.   I was making a blanket in this exact color right before my mother-in-law died and I haven’t been able to go finish it.    I was crocheting it but somehow after she taught me to knit I just wanted to knit.  I finished the blanket some months ago I need to add it to my Pinterest boards.  I really need to update those boards.  I just for some reason don’t have the time I had before yet nothing has changed except I got into the polish room.  I am dying to take you all on a tour of it but while I have a house guest I can’t, just because I would not infringe on her privacy.  I feel like I said that before.  It is just that it is really fun to be in there.  So, Dahling is a creamy English rose.  The formula is great but after reviewing the Lancôme polish I don’t know if anything can compare.  Tomorrow I am gathering my mail haul for November for review.  I will also be doing my November favorites.  So, watch for those.  Ring from Charming Charlie’s,  I love that place.

If you have a blog do you keep up your Pinterest page up to date and if you do can you give us some tips on how to do that?

Polish of Day 46 Jack the Lad

Today is a butter London.  Jack the Lad.  It reminds me of a darker Logan.  I don’t have anything like it and it is really nice.   The color is gorgeous.  I love butter London so much.  I think you all can tell by the fact that I think I have posted maybe seven new polishes I got this month.   This is a glitter and two coats are ok but three is better or give it a pair of undies with two coats which is what I did.

You might think it looks like Zoya’s Logan but it is much darker.   I did find some dupes though and plan to post them hopefully tomorrow.  My life has been pretty chaotic right now so I don’t think I am going to put out my usual 60 posts  but that’s ok.    I am off to bed before bed before 12:00 am can you believe that?    But I do need my 8 – 10 hours.  How many hours sleep do you need to feel good the next day?   I've always kind of wondered about that.  Not how many you get how many do you feel you need?

Polish of the Day 35 Fishwife by butter London

Ok, I am not only addicted to polish. I am addicted to butter London.  I was on Amazon and was finding all these butter London polishes first this one, then another one, then another one.   My cart was as full as I could allow it to be so I had to go check out.  This one came in first the other two will hopefully be here with my copy of Magic Mike.  If haven’t seen that movie yet, you got to see it just like you got to see this polish.   Light greenish teal holo.  Trustafarian is greener this one has blue in it and some yellow it is gorgeous.  So,  I am happy and ready to order my next two lemming, which are Tramp Stamp (love the name) and Jack the Lad.  But wait something happens.   Scroll down and keep reading.

Yeap,  Damn Xmas.  It not only takes the money from the Christians but now they are getting to the Jews.   These are so pretty and I am such a sucker for a neutral.  I don’t know what to do.    HELP!  My head is spinning with all these butter London releases.  I remember when they would put out 3 polishes every 6 months.  But this is crazy.  There is the fall line.  Xmas, Special for Macy, Dillards, Nordstrom's, and Bloomingdales and then there are the ones that are online only like fishwife was supposed to be.  Thank God UPS and FED EX comes during the day.  My husband’s cool.  He just laughs.  Sometimes we are laying in bed and he says what are you thinking about.  And I tell him I don’t know whether to order the Deborah Lippmann or butter London.  He asks if I am really am really thinking about that and you know I am.    He looks at me with this look of like I don’t get it.  I just say it’s like when we eat at I HOP and you don’t know whether to get bacon or an omelet with ham.  OH,  I understand.

Polish of day 21 butter London Stag do

I got this last week and almost forgot I had it. This polish looks beautiful in the bottle but don't expect not get that same shimmer on your nails for some reason it just turns to a crème. I don't know if maybe once a little more polish has been used the gold flecks will start to show but just the way it is I see nothing. The formula is like butter and it dries really fast like all other butter London's but I was disappointed with the way the polish transfers from the bottle to the nails. Even as a crème it is pretty though.     DSCF5118   stag do 3   stag do 1   stag do 2   Do you see any gold flecks in this polish?

butter London Trout Pout

Trout Pout had much the same consistency of Teddy and the color is absolutely beautiful.  The color is the color of a beautifully cooked salmon.  Two coats and a top coat and you are ready to go.  Stamping on this would look really nice if you have the time but wearing it plain is fine also.
