Whimsical by Pam
I don’t like to be partial but there are some indies that I really am partial to three I can think of right off the bat and a new one. With that will I have three new polishes to show you by Whimsical by Pam. I just want to say that if you haven’t not done business with Pam you will find that she is so easy to work with easy to get a hold of and just down right good people. I never buy three polishes at a time usually I just buy two but I get treated the same as if I was buying six or seven. The bottles of her polish are also so cute and I am a real sucker for a cute bottle and her bottles are so cute.
So, even though I don’t like Halloween when I saw this polish. I HAD to have it. I wore it on Sunday and everywhere I went a girl noticed it and said something about it. What I did was I used one coat of OPI’s Greenwich Village. Then rolled on two coats of Wicked. I did not really consider this a Halloween polish I was thinking more of the play Wicked which I was lucky enough to see. I really enjoyed it. I really feel that Pam captured the play in this polish
Isn’t it just totally cool. I love this polish. I can’t wait to show it to my nieces. I went to see Wicked with them and they were explaining to me what was going on. The only down side was that I had just been released from the hospital and was in my very depressed mode but this seemed to help temporarily.
The next one is called Sweet Baby James. If you are my age you know who James Taylor is if you are not you might have heard your parents talk about him He was a great folk singer in the 1970’s. You might know the song Fire and Rain. Well he also wrote Sweet Baby James. I totally will put James Taylor’s Greatest Hits CD on and it will replay four times before I realize it is time to change the CD. That Is me I really like him probably one of my favorite artists. So when I saw Sweet Baby James of course I had to have it. It is light blue with pink and white glitters. What I did was use one coat of Deborah Lippmann's Let’s Hear it For the Boy as panties and used two coats of Sweet Baby James. I am finding that using this method works very well.
Macro
The next one is one if you read my blog know I could not pass up. BEATLEMANIA. Magical Mystery Tour. I could not resist this one and I would not have done it any different. I used one coat of Zoya Suri and two coats of Magical Mystery Tour.
So, these are three new ones from Whimsical polish. If you want to order go to Whimsical by Pam’s Facebook page for information on ordering. Each bottle is $10.00.
If you like these which is your favorite?

Kimber's Challenge Marbling
I really like to do marbling the only problem I have is that my husband loves keep the apartment in Arctic temperatures and my water is usually really cold so I have to put it in the microwave. So, the next thing is really finding the right size of container to use. One person on YouTube said a shot glass was the best but nope I had no luck then I tried a tea cup and it was too large but what did work was a plastic urine sample cup I had for some reason I just can't remember and it worked great. So, I had a really easy marbling today. I used a-England Lady of the Lake, Dragon and Princess Sabra's Tears. I could have used something else but I wanted the holo look and I did kind of cry every time I dropped a bit of polish in the water but the effects were worth it and the bottles are still 3/4 full.
So, usually marbling is done with creams how do you feel they look with holo polish? Or do you like it better in creams?
Ciao for now,
Patty

Gradient with Gold Leaves
Today I did a three color gradient with gold leaves. Autumn is upon us but barely especially in Texas so doing a light gradient would be nice at this time. I am just trying to make the gradual move to autumn colors and this is a good transition.
Do you feel that you are transitioning your summer colors to fall colors? Is it easy or are you having a hard time?

If you get a chance take a minute to vote in the poll on the top right column.

Polish Day 11 Deborah Lippman Cleopatra in New York
When I saw this polish I almost died it is so beautiful and in person it is even more beautiful. I got it just before I was going to post another color but no way you have to see this gorgeous polish. I have two bottles of it too. I ordred it from Bloomingdales becauese they said it was only sold there so I immedicatley ordered. Then I went to Nordstrom about four days later and there it was. I tried to cancel Bloomdales but they would not let me so now I have two but not to worry that just means I get to go to Nordstrom and buy something else. Here she is
I love this polish and again it is one of those polishes that does not photograph as beautifully as it is. I am really glad I got it and I just can't wait to wear it out this weekend plus go get a new Deborah Lippman from Nordstrom. I have to admit. I have gone a little crazy this month with the Ulta Buy 2 Butter London's get one free. Plus I bought the whole new line of buttter London. Some Cult Nails and Model's Own, I was going to budget myself this month but I haven't been able to plus I ordered Ugg boots and got them yesterday. I just needed them. They are just the short ones in chestnut. I have black ones, denim and pink. So, I really felt I needed the brown ones. I also ordered so many clothes from Macy's. I feel strong though that I won't need to order too many more polishes plus I still haven't got my OPI James Bond. I am getting really anxious about that. If I get to order three polishes a week I will be ok. Has that ever happened to you that you just gone over your polish spending limit? Do you even have one? What are your rules? I'd really like to know because I am feeling guilty but also sad that I might not be able to buy any polish for a couple of week. Please leave a comment on this I really want to know. I need help.

Patty

Kimber’s Challenge Galaxies
I have missed the days to post these photos all week. I know now posts are done on Wednesday and Saturday. In won't miss that again. I did a galaxy the way I would imagine it would be. I used a combination of China Glaze Cosmic, China Glaze Meteor Showers and CDN Sapphire. It kinda turned out a little harder and not really the way I wanted it to come out but it is close to what I wanted.
This is my first galaxy so go easy on me. It does look much better in person. I was supposed to make a light box tody but my husband went to slpee after we bought all the things we needed. OH, well, I guesll I will try and do it tomorrow. Don’t for get to answer the poll and there are only 2 days away till I announce the winner of the giveaway. So if you haven’t signed up. Please do so.

China Glaze Glimmers For December 2012

Glaze Glimmers For December 2012
Myra’s Meadow Stamped
The greatest thing about this manicure is that I discovered that Kleancolors nail polish Is great for stamping. I had heard that the metallic were good for stamping so I tried them and they did work great so I ordered the 7 colors I did not have. They just work perfect and are not flat. They have some shimmer to them making stamping look different. I am always glad when I can find a polish other than Konad to stamp with and I am really excited about this. I found this out from my favorite YouTube guru. her name is soguesswhat 11. She really shares a lot with her audience and is a PRO at stamping. So if you get a chance check her channel out she makes stamping look easy. She is responsible for my beginning to stamp. I would watch her channel and duplicate manicures until I was able to see patterns to stamp on my own. She is a member of adventures in stamping and was on the other day and I just had to sing her praises. So, if you don’t stamp and want to I highly suggest watching her channel and getting tips and how to’s from her.
So for this manicure I used Myra’s Meadow as a base then stamped with Kleancolors Metallic Aqua, Metallic Yellow and Metallic Yellow. I used my DRK-A plate. By the way Ninja Polish is getting a DRK-C plate for pre-order if you are into stamping.
o
So, do you think I was able to get a good stamp using Kleancolors and do you like this manicure. Don’t forget to vote on the poll. And if you haven’t signed up for the giveaway you have two more days. I think the prizes are really great.

Polish Day 9 butter London Bluey
Ok, I did not post yesterday but I am ahead of the game when it come to Polish of the Day. This is butter London’s Bluey. I have to say. I exceeded my expectations. I loved it. I did not even want to stamp it because it is so beautiful on it’s own. I am loving butter London as much as Deborah Lippmann. I’ve ordered more. I am addicted to butter London right now. It goes on so smooth and this is a frost and I had no problems with streaking or staining afterwards. I hated to take it off. I do not have any color like this in my collection and it is just so gorgeous. it is well pigmented. I only needed two coats that dried at within minutes. If you get a chance to get this one. It is a winner. It would go good on any skin tone also. On top of having placed an order for I think it is three more butter London's I won a giveaway and the prize was a butter London with the lip gloss. I chose Queen Vic. There were only four choices and that was the best for me. You will see it this week. So for now enjoy the pictures and don’t forget about Ulta’s special this month buy 2 get one free. Free is always good and no shipping.
So, do you think this is as much of a winner as I do? If you can take a minute to answer the poll question and if there is a particular polish you might want to see swatched before you buy it sent me an email and if I have it I will post it. Also excuse the spelling error in the poll. I am fixing it tonight.
Ciao for now bells,

Polish of Day 8 Enigmatic by Cult Nails
I actually did not choose this polish it was sent to me instead of one that I did choose and I can see the reason why they were giving this one away. First, it took forever to dry. These pictures were taken four hours after Seche Vite topcoat and I can see little flaws but had such a terrible time on something else I was working on I gave up. I have never had this problem with a cult nail product they are usually smooth and dry fast but not this one and the fact that they gave it to me makes me suspicious of it’s true nature. Maybe this was just a bad batch and there is a good batch of this. I don’t know but I don’t think I will be wearing it alone. Sometimes this happens with a polish and your immediate feeling is to get rid of it but there is always something you can do with it. I am going to use it for water marbling. Maybe I will franken it who knows but I always make use of something even it it is bad.
Kimber’s Lacquer Challenge Half Moon.
Hioow, I have done several half moons but for some reason I couldn't get it together to make a good one so here are there samples of the ones that I did do. you bee the judge and tell me which one you like best.
