a-England has put out some really pretty polishes this one is one of my favorites I love the dark green with gold flecks in it the day I wore it everyone wanted to know where I got it and when I got into telling them. They looked at me rather oddly, like you go through that to get a nail polish. Shit yes for this one. I wonder what other two they have up their sleeves because there will be five in this Heavenly Quotes series and after the last series which was ok but not the best they need to hit a home run. They got with this one.
There she is I just love the way it sparkles in the sun because of the gold flecks. This is a winner.

Polish Day 60 Essence Chic Reloaded
Ok, this is what I want in a polish. Smooth application a nice size brush (should have taken a picture, on the next one), fast drying and $1.00. Photographs beautifully also. A bottle that is small enough that I can hold it when I photograph. Not that is small but the shape is just perfect for my fat little hands. But is it purple or some other color? Look and find out.
I’ve had this sitting on my desk for about two weeks ready to swatch but something else always came in and I had felt that this one could wait. All I am going to say is it is a great polish and for $2.00 you can’t miss.

I love the way I can hold the bottle and you can still see my fingers.
What happened. That’s right it is green and photographed green. I love it.

Polish of Day 59 a-England Moonbeams
Help! I left home without my panties. That is all I could think of as I was photographing this polish but with four coats this is what the polish looks like. It is really pretty but I think I needed to have undies on it. I think it would have looked better but I just thought after the second coat it would look ok. It was smooth but you could barely see the color now maybe on a lighter skin tone two coats would be ok but it wasn’t for me. Overall the polish went on smooth and dried fast for four coats, so I am happy with it. Now, I am just waiting for someone to have She walks in Beauty. It is a pinkish color. I like this line better than the last one which to me all look black. I got this from Llarowe and you just gotta keep up with your newsletters to get the three in the collection so far.
Do you buy a-England polishes and if you have had you a negative or postive experience with them? Let us know.

The Prettiest Manicure I Had Ever Seen
Sometime last year before I started doing a blog I used to read them and I came across The Polished Perfectionist blog and on her home page she has this beautiful manicure she recently duplicated it in teal. I really wanted to wear it too so I changed it to blue. I used Deborah Lippman’s Let’s hear it for the Boy on my pinky and thumb and for the dots on the index finger. The middle finger has China Glaze Lorelie’s Tiara and the ring finger has Butter London Blagger and stamped with the butterfly pattern from the DRK-A plate. Now this is a steal but in a different color and if you want to see some really pretty nail art. She does it. I really felt so feminine and was waving my hands all day so people would notice. What a freak. But I love this manicure. I have heard several bloggers say try this and send me pictures of what you came up with and there is a saying that goes something like, Duplication is the biggest form of flattery. I think I would only get upset if my pictures were used without my authorization or if something was copied and I was not noted as the creator. That is like plagiarism. So, I will send Polished a pic of this and want to say that she is the creator of this look I simply changed the colors. She has been out of pocket for a while and sometimes our memories are short. So, another thing I like about this manicure is that color combinations are endless and it is easy to create.
So, what are your thoughts on this am I stealing or just copying and is it wrong?

Polish of Day 57 Hex Appeal by KB Shimmer
OMG, this polish is so pretty. The glitter go together great and I loved wearing it I wore it for three whole days. I love KB Shimmer polish. Christy and two others I know never miss the mark. I just placed another order from Christy because I knew I needed more when I got Hex appeal and Cocoa Nut. I ordered Diva and Quantum leaf and there is another one coming out is black to business. I can’t wait for that one. I did use OPI' You –got to get this Color. It was perfect for this polish and I kind of do recommend using undies just to get the most out of your polish.
See how beautiful. If you have never bought an indie I would highly recommend trying Kb Shimmer and two others that you will see on my blog. I have no other indies on my blog so see if you can figure out who the other two are they also have some great things. KB Shimmer polishes can be bought at KB Shimmer

Hanuakah Flaom
I waited patiently for my first bottle of floam. Then there was girly Floam, now Hanukkah floam. Oy vey. I love it . You don’t need to be Jewish to wear this and it doesn’t need to be Hanukkah to wear it. It iis so pretty. Very feminine even though it its blue. If you have ever used floam you know the waiting period is a little longer and if you mess up you can always put it back in place. I love that. I put it on my toes too. I hated taking off but I did wear it for three days and it was time to change so I could get to swatching other colors.
So you can see that yes it is blue and silver but it doesn’t mean Hanukkah. It is a good time to wear it but I will wear it anytime. It is just that pretty

Polish of Day 56 Nars Storm Bird
This polish is absolutely gorgeous. It goes on like a dream and I am really glad I finally decided to get it. I kept blowing it off but I finally took the leap. It goes on like smooth silk and dries to a beautiful cream finish like the sheen you get when making butter taffy.
I also think it was kind of a fluke that I got this polish because I had a reward card for $15.00 with a $50.00 purchase. I needed to spend $11.00 more so I remembered this polish and just grabbed it to go. It was so hot in Sephora I was sphitzing all over the place. I got some other things to review. I know I am behind on my polish of the day. Just with Hanukkah and then my sister's birthday I haven't had a free moment but there is always time. But I have pictures of two days of Hanukkah pictures and other manicures. So check me out tomorrow when I have the whole day to work on my
blog which I love to do, so check me out tomorrow. Lots of good stuff.

Polish of Day 56 Tramp Stamp Butter London
There is only one reason I bought this polish. The name. I love the name. At first I wasn’t crazy about the color but as I took the pictures it looked really pretty and now that I have cropped them and looked at them and liked it. I am not going to say it is my favorite but I would probably stamp it to make it a little more attractive.
Love it or leave it. It joins my collection of butter London’s

Polish of Day 55 Viridian by Illamasqua
Hi, today I have a beautiful green which totally looks blue but it is a duochrome. It is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to wear it one day soon. I kind of feel weird about that but I am going out to dinner tonight and it just was not going to go with what I am wearing. This is a great formula. I got this from Sephora online and it cost $15.00 which is ok. Just a dollar more than Butter London. This polish has been around for a while but it is so pretty it has real staying power.
There she is, isn’t she pretty?

November Favorites
Let me just say. November was a heavy month for nail polish. I still haven't shown all the November polish I have gotten. It was crazy. I think that I tend to order more polish when I am bored or depressed.
My number five favorite polish was Butter London's Cake Hole.
Number four was the yellow and gray gradient.
My number three manicure was the one I did for Kimber's challenge.
My number two favorite manicure had to be KB Shimmer's Cocoa Nut. I don't know what it is about this polish but I love love it.
My favorite November manicure had to be when I wore Jade's Magica and Lynnderella Pentimento on top. I got so many compliments and I just loved the way it looked. I actually wore it for three days which usually does not happen for me.
So those are my favorites maybe you can share your favorite manicure from your blog with us.

It is that time again
Yes, it is that time again...cold and flu season. You can avoid a flu by getting a flu shot but what about a cold. To this day there still is NO cure for the common cold. You just have to ride it out. So many parents take their children to the doctor the minute they get a sniffle. Now, yes you can take medicine the symptoms of the cold, but nothing to actually get rid of the cold. The cold is caused by a rhinovirus that lives in your nose under the right conditions it will become active and cause a cold. No antibiotic will get rid of a virus, antibiotics only kill bacterial infections. When you give your child an antibiotic for every little ailment you run a high risk. When a doctor diagnoses you with a viral infection your bodies white blood cells go to work to overtake the virus that is what throws your body off. There is a battle in your body. When doctors realize you have a bacterial infection they prescribe what is called a Broad Spectrum antibiotic. If you notice ampillicin seems to be the most prescribed antibiotic because it works for almost everything. Over use will cause problems because your body then creates antibodies that work against the Broad Spectrum antibiotic. Then you might be in trouble because then the doctor needs to find an antibiotic that is specific for your illness whatever it may be, which means blood tests, x-rays etc. In other words more money. We are all different and what works on me might not work on you. Just a quick example, my husband is allergic to penicillin, I am not. So, when it comes to taking care of infections it is much easier (and cheaper) to find the right antibiotic for me. I won't take an antibiotic unless I have an infection a cold is not an infection but if you don't take care of the symptoms it can develop into an infection like bronchitis, strep throat, a sinus infection etc. This is when you need to take an antibiotic. The best way to keep this from happening is to contain any drippings. Colds are very contagious so when you sneeze you need to make sure to cover your mouth and not with your hand you need a good tissue, like Kleenex. Mucus from your nose needs to be cleaned often also with tissue and hands need to be washed if you can't wash then you can use an antibacterial cream like Kleenex antibacterial lotion. I always carry antibacterial lotion in my purse. I use it to clean toilet seats in public bathrooms, it also works as a deodorant in a pinch. I know I am against using things that are not for specific parts of your body but this is not going to cause any harm because of the part of the body we are talking about.
We know so much about the common cold, no cure but lots of ways to alleviate the symptoms of a cold. I was pretty lucky growing up that I had three grandmothers. My maternal, and a paternal grandmother and great grandmother. Now, each had their little cures for the symptoms of a cold. My maternal probably was on the best track with chicken soup and lots of juice. My grandma suffered from severe depression and was not really able to cook. My mother did the cooking but grandma was allowed to open a can of chicken noodle soup and heat it up and that is what she would do and make sure I was laying down in bed with plenty of water because she knew once you get a fever that is a sign of infection and time for an antibiotic. Now, dad's side of the family had some pretty strange cures for a cold. My grandmother lived in the main house and my great grandmother lived in a little house next to my grandmother's. My grandmother usually made me this really good tea with some herbs from her garden, I finally figured it was lavender and basil it felt good because the steam unclogged my nose but wait now here comes the strange part. She would then grab some more herbs and whack my body with them. It didn't hurt it just kinda tickled.. Then here comes my great grandmother to get mad at her daughter saying she did not know anything. Underneath her arm was a bottle of brandy. She would get a small glass and put about and ounce of brandy in a small cup and told me to drink it. Meantime, grandma and great-grandma start fighting till great grandma wins the fight saying she is everyone's mother and her daughter will shut up and leave her alone. Then she kindly looks at me and says drink. So, I drink and she says to drink it all at once, so I do. Then coughing starts and I a smile comes upon my face great- grandma says you feel better, I say yes. Then great-grandma grabs a box of Kleenex and walks me to bed and I go to sleep. Then my parents pick me up and my father asks did grandma give her brandy and his mom says yes. He laughs takes me home lays in my bed. Mom comes in with some juice and roll of toilet paper. I look at her and the toilet paper and she says that is for if you have to blow your nose. What? Toilet paper? Take me back to the grandmas they have kleenex. The funny thing is that I have the toilet paper and there is a roll of paper towels in my bathroom.
