I heard that Klean Kolors metallic were great for stamping so I ordered about six of them. I ordered them from Beauty Joint and the first time I ordered there the shipping was very reasonable and each polish was only $1.75 so I place a pretty big order. I expected the same thing this time but I found that the shipping price had almost doubled but I still got around six polishes for $20.00. Now, there are two beauty supplies close to where I live that sell Klean Kolors for $4.00 a bottle but honestly I can’t stand the owners they are just so rude and downright mean. So, I don’t want to go there. So, I bit the dust and ordered from Beauty Joint. Now as you can see the stamping is good and pretty clear the only problem is that since the polish is thin when you scrape it a lot of polish comes off so it gets messy. I used a lot of different colors in this design so of course I did make a mess but stamping with one color is a lot cleaner.
So, I call it Bojo Chic because it does look Bojo and I did ha something like this in mind. I want to do it again because I really did not get to wear this. I used the metallic yellow as a base. So, I want to change the colors around a little. I used my DRK-C plate which I absolutely love. The bundle monster set 3 has a really good pattern a that looks like it would make a cute bojo pattern also. Just check your plates and you will find something.
So, have some fun in crating something like this . I love stamping it just so much fun.

Patty

Polish of Day 67 butter London Aston
This is Butter London Aston. November was a heavy Butter London month. There were specials all over the place and I did go a little wild. This color is so pretty because it is so feminine. I love the pink undertones. The picture on the site makes it look very different from what it really is. I was expecting more of a brown tone but was pleasantly surprised to see this beautiful color. I was swatching that day and of course it came right off after taken the pictures. Needleless to say I was very pleased.
Did you find any good deals during November on butter London? If you did, did you buy more than you should have? I did and I still have more on my wishlist.

OPI Euro Collection
OPI Euro Centrale Collection for Spring/Summer 2013 Official Photos & Information
OPI Announces the Launch of Euro Centrale for Spring/Summer 2013.
Classic meets contemporary with Euro Centrale by OPI for Spring/Summer 2013. Celebrating a region where history meets modern design, the collection’s twelve new nail lacquers offer a mixture of glamorous metallic hues; playful bright shades in periwinkle, aqua and pink; and creamy blues in indigo, midnight and aubergine.
“Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Romania make up an exciting new fashion hotspot,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “When visiting these countries, you’ll view Gothic churches alongside vibrant graffiti murals, blending two very different aesthetics. This fusion of old and new was also seen in runway looks during New York Fashion Week, where classic styles were reinvented with modern silhouettes and patterns.
“Euro Centrale boasts a wide variety of shades, ranging from pale nude to deep blue – and featuring everything from shimmering copper to aqua in between!,” continues Weiss-Fischmann. “Whether you’re looking to spice up a black and white print, or add neutrality to a vivid brocade, these lacquers are designed to accessorize spring’s hottest looks.”

Now that bad news. This will be a four piece set of full sized polishes for $45 (American, not sure about Canadian distribution yet!) and should be out this spring.

Polish Day 65 Jade Diamond Violeta
I counted and I am about nine days behind on polish of the day. I hate that. I am really trying to catch up. This is Jade Diamond and I do like it but I prefer the holographics from Jade. This is pretty enough but those holos from Jade are really pretty. I have three and I do believe I have reviewed them all. I am thinking how pretty these would be on a water marble.
Jade polishes can be found at Llarowe or at Ninja Polish. They cost around $7.00.

Polish of Day 64 Mushroom by Models Own
This is Mushroom. Not really the color of a mushroom at least not any I have seen but I have to admit, I love the selection of colors Model’s Own has. Their crème’s are so smooth not like the one from yesterday but as far as polish goes very smooth. The great thing is that most Model’s Own crèmes are pigmented. Two coats and you get the color from the bottle. I am so glad that we now have access to Model’s Own through Ninja Polish. If you buy them from the website you are going to pay $20.00 just in shipping. Funny story the first time I ordered from Model’s Own I ordered from the website and did not change the country so they had me living in the UK. It took about six weeks to get the polish but I did. I did not order again due to such high shipping costs.
So, is a color I can’t figure out it is purple or dark gray depending on what you are wearing. Very pretty and very wearable.

Peacock Fishtail
I had finished painting my nails with Nars Storm Bird when I decided to use it in a fishtail. I was not disappointed. I used American Apparel Peacock and American Apparel Imperial Purple. I really love the fishtail/braid look. It requires some concentration and dexterity so it is more challenging than just swatching. Like I said I was very pleased with this combination and the way they look.
So, I think they are bright and very vibrant colors and a great pick me up on a dull day.

Scrambled brains
This is pretty much how my brain feels right now with everything going on. I am pretty independent but to be caregiver to another person is not my strong suit. Like I said before men are the most demanding patients and I have one of those right now. I’ve been through it before and it tends to really scramble my brains. So I did this manicure on Sunday when I came home for a short while. It is a reminder also that it won’t always be like this and things will go back to normal. But right now scrambled brains.
I used OPI’s Yo-Gotta Get This Color and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Cheeky Plate 15.

Polish of the Day 66 Layla Soft Touch Holo Fire It Up
I found these at Ulta and immediately snatched two up. I had a $5.00 off coupon and was happy to pay the price. I have been trying to get back to buy another one but with everything going on I have not made it. Maybe tomorrow. This is such a pretty polish and in the sun you can really see the holo in this polish. I love it because it is like the suede's that dry so fast but these have an added effect the holo in them. If you can buy one of these go for it you won’t be disappointed.
In pictures it appears that just flat but for real the holo really shows up this is one of those hard to photograph polishes. if you can go to the turquoise one you can clearly see the holo these were harder to capture.
So, you can find these at Ulta and if they don’t have them there then you can buy them at Ninja Polish or at Llarowe.

I am really back home!
Last night I stayed home and was able to do two posts but that was it. I am finally home with my polish room and all my fun stuff to manicure to my hearts content. I am going to catch up on polish of day and I do have some nail art I was planning to post during the week last week. So, first I will catch up with polish of the day. Review some collections and catch up on some hauls. I hope to get things back to normal within a day or two.
Follow-up to It’s That Time Again
A couple of weeks ago I talked about getting colds and antibiotics. I stand behind than unless like I said it is accompanied with a fever which usually means infection then you no longer have just a cold. What I did not talk about was the flu. I have never gotten the flu in my life. How? I have no idea. I have gotten colds and taking an MAOI I do need to get other medication because I can’t take any type of cold remedies. The flu is usually caused by a bacteria that scientist have been able to identify so that is why we have flu shots. I went to see my doctor and she told me and my husband we did not need to get the flu shot. She was WRONG. Texas has such lax laws for doctors I could tell you stories but it would just take too long. My husband is still in the hospital with pneumonia. The nurse in the emergency room told us that if he had gotten a flu shot he would not have gotten pneumonia. So, I am going to get a flu shot tomorrow. Luckily, I got pneumonia 4 years ago after complications from surgery where the doctor punctured my phrenic nerve and paralyzed my diaphragm which means I only have one working lung. I was able to stay with my husband in his room in the hospital only because I had the shot, but how did hospital staff know that? I could have been lying. Hmmm. Maybe they just don’t give a damn.
I say get a flu and pneumonia shot if you can. I am going to.

Patty
