Elixir Lacquer Some Kind of Connery

Today I have two of Elixir's best selling polishes at the time I bought them.  I just checked Overall Beauty where you can still find them.  I just did not get around to swatching and posting.  I kind of have a lot of polishes that I have not swatched and shown because when I started my blog I wanted to have a wide variety of polish but I kept buying new stuff and never got around to show some of the other stuff but I am going to maybe start swatching more than stamping but I am addicted to stamping.  I am just going to have to make time for both.  Both these polishes are pretty much like most glitter, they work best with the tap and roll motion and I am definitely going to make sure I always put panties on my glitters you get so much more out of them.  Just one light coat.

OK, there is this new thing going around the web about using all purpose glue as a base when you use glitters and when you want to take them off you just peel them off.  I haven't tried it but I saw it on youtube from soguesswhat11 who says she got it from a blog post from wacky laki.  Regardless of where it came from you NEED to watch this video.  OMG, I am going to wear glitter polish more.  She put the glue in an empty bottle of Seche Vite, (like we don't have a couple of bottles laying around).  The she painted the glue on her nail came back the next day and with an orange stick she just lifted the side and it came off whole.  I am trying that.  I am going to try it tonight and let you know tomorrow.

Back to the polish, sorry had a freak out moment when I saw that video.  This is Some kind of Connery a dark teal glitter,  I took the pictures outside like I usually do and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

The next one I have is With A K.  This is a beautiful fuchsia glitter.

Isn't she pretty.  I don't know why but I refer to like browns, blues and greens in the masculine and pinks, reds and ivory's in the feminine must be the Spanish in me.  I have a few more from Elixir so look for them in the near future.

Ciao bellas,
Patty
